Datti Urges Supporters To Remain Calm

Datti urges supporters to remain calm, says Obi will speak at the right time. In a press conference held at Abuja on Wednesday morning, Datti, the Vice Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, has asked for calm. He also told supporters of the party to vote for the party in next week’s governorship and house of Assembly polls.

During the press conference, Datti said Obi will speak up in due time following the rejection of the results of Saturday’s polls. He has assured the party’s supporters that will be a legal redress of the matter.

Datti further reiterated that the Labour Party and its agents stand for peace, that they still had hope in Nigeria. He begged Nigerians to remain calm and avoid protests.

The LP vice presidential candidate, has dismissed rumours of a merger with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). He insisted that the party is fighting alone for its rights.
