Prof. Owunari Georgewill of the University of Port-Harcourt, the State Collation Officer, released the results on Tuesday at the state headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission.

The PUNCH had earlier reported that Obi had won the Federal Capital Territory.

Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party and Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress finished second and third, respectively.
