Police Issue Election Warning

Police issue election warning amid fake results. According to The PUNCH, INEC’s policies and standards are being violated by the dissemination and distribution of purported or false election results on social media and other news platforms. This was noted by the Nigeria Police Force.

Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the NPF’s spokesperson, revealed in a statement on Sunday.

According to Adejobi, “The police have seen this trend as a planned attempt to stoke the political climate. And perhaps spark post-election chaos. We consider this to be unjust, unpatriotic, and false.

According to The PUNCH police issue election warning due to the dissemination and distribution of alleged or fake election results on social media and other news platforms which violate the principles and standards of INEC. The Nigeria Police Force took notice of this.

The NPF’s spokesperson, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, revealed in a statement on Sunday.

“The police has interpreted this trend as a calculated attempt to stir the political milieu. And maybe cause post-election chaos,” said Adejobi. This, in our opinion, is unjust, un-American, and dishonest.
