Tinubu: I will work day and night for a better Nigeria. Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress’s nominee for president, has pledged to work tirelessly for the country’s improvement.
After receiving his Certificate of Return as Nigeria’s next president on Wednesday, Tinubu made this statement.
At the International Conference Centre in Abuja, the certificate was given to him by Prof. Mahmood Yakubu. He is the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission.
Yakubu declared Tinubu the victor of the hotly disputed election that took place on Saturday, February 25. It was announced in the early hours of Wednesday, March 1.
Atiku Abubakar, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, and Peter Obi, a member of the Labour Party, finished second and third, respectively. In his certificate ceremony speech titled ‘To serve the people’, Tinubu assured Nigerians, especially the youths that he will work day and night to improve the country.
