The celebration of the 50 years of Hip Hop was yesterday at the 2023 BET Awards. The biggest names in music came together in Downtown L.A at the Microsoft Theatre. At this year’s event, Busta Rhymes received the Lifetime Achievement Award.
The BET Awards honour the best performances in music, film, Tv, and sports.
Some highlights of the event were:
Patti LaBelle sang a tribute to Tina Turner.
Chris Brown and Usher sharing the Male R&B/Pop Artist Award.
In film, Disney/Marvel Black Panther: Wakanda Forever won the Best Movie.
Offset and Quavo reunited to pay homage to the late Migos member, Takeoff.
