2023 elections: Tinubu is declared winner in Zamafara State. The results are in and APC presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been declared the winner in Zamafara State.
The collation officer for the Zamfara State presidential election, Professor Kashim Shehu of the Federal University of Birnin Kebbi, announced that Tinubu polled 298,396 votes. The results were announced in Gusau this morning.
The former Lagos State governor was closely followed by Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with 193,978 votes.
It would seem that the Labour Party has no hold over this state. Tinubu won 12 out of 14 Local Government Areas in the state, while Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party won two.
