Tinubu Wins In Jigawa

This just in Tinubu wins in Jigawa. Unsurprisingly, Tinubu wins in Jigawa with the elephant share of votes. In the recently completed presidential elections in Jigawa State, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, received the most votes (421, 390), placing him in first place.

Atiku Abubakar, a former vice president and candidate for the People’s Democratic Party, received 386,587 votes to place second.

Prof. Arma-Ya’u Hamisu Bichi of the Federal University Dutsinma in Katsina State, the collation officer for the 2023 presidential election in Jigawa State, announced the results. And noted that the poll was peacefully held and that the candidates received the following numbers of votes.

According to him, there are 2,341,441 registered voters. 961,670 votes have been accredited. And 954,805 ballots have been cast in total.

According to Prof. Bichi, the APC received 421,390 votes. Followed by the LP with 1,889, the NNPP with 98,234 votes, and the PDP with 386,587 votes.

He subsequently declared that 920,531 votes were validly cast and were rejected.
