Face Unlock For Google Pixel 6 Pro?

After all the fuss, could there be Face Unlock for the Google Pixel 6 Pro? The mysterious situation surrounding Face Unlock on the Google Pixel 6 Pro is still ongoing. But recent rumors from insiders indicate that the function may eventually come to the device later this year.

According to the staff at 9to5Google, who did some investigating, the most recent Android version for Pixel phones contains code that refers to a CPU boost that is applied when Face Unlock is necessary (ostensibly to help identify you more quickly). Furthermore, only Pixel 6 Pro phones can use the code.

It appears that the software engineers behind Android 12 are laying the groundwork. So we expect Face Unlock on the Pixel 6 Pro to eventually show up at some time in the future. Although this feature isn’t live and Google hasn’t announced anything about it.

Could there be Face Unlock for the Google Pixel 6 Pro?

You might recall that, both before and after the debut of the devices, there were numerous rumors regarding the Google Pixel 6 phones and Face Unlock. The theory holds that the lack of availability of the choice was due to dependability and battery issues.

Google may have resolved all outstanding concerns. The company is now prepared to roll out Face Unlock on its most current Pixel flagship. At least for the Pro variant. The phone lacks the radar sensors that worked for Face Unlock on the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL. However, its selfie camera technology and Google’s AI expertise may be sufficient.

Face Unlock may not be available for the Pixel 6 Pro yet. This too as hardware updates for the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro may make unlocking even more convenient.
