Collation Suspended In Imo

Breaking election news: collation suspended in Imo. The compilation of results in the Nkwerre/ Nwangele/ Njaba/ Isu Federal Constituency of Imo State has been halted by INEC.

The suspension came as a result of the disappearance of the ballots and election results for the Njaba Local Government Area.

According to INEC, collation suspended in Imo. Ugonna Ozurigbo, a candidate for the People’s Democratic Party, received 16,846 votes, while Harrison Nwadike, a candidate for the All Progressives Congress, received 6,784 votes.

With 6, 609 votes, the Labour Party candidate finished in third place.

Roseline Ogechukwu, the returning officer for the election, declared the election suspended. Because she was unable to return any candidate because the results from the four LGAs had not yet been fully tallied.

She commanded that all election-related concerns be sent to the INEC headquarters in Owerri, the state capital.

In the three LGAs that have been tallied so far for the constituency election, PDP won.
