Nike art gallery in Lagos:

 

Nike art gallery was founded in 2009 by chief Nike Davies Okundaye, the main aim of this gallery is to ensure the sustainability of art in Nigeria.

It is located at Num 2 Elegushi beach road, Epe expressway, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, and has over 20, 000 artworks ranging from batik, indigo, painting, etc. which worth are in thousands and millions.

At the time this article was written, there was no entry fee to the art gallery.

Gurara waterfalls in Niger:

 

Gurara waterfalls was discovered in 1745 and named after two gods, Gura and Rara,

It’s located in Gurara local government area in Niger state,

Visitors can swim in this waterfall during the dry season when the water level is low.

It spans about 300 meters across and drops 50 meters below.

Hiking can be done here; family hang out can be observed here.

Erin Ijesha Waterfall:

 

Erin Ijesha waterfall which can be translated to the elephant is a seven-step waterfall located in Osun state,

At the top of the hill on the seventh floor is the source of the water

The second level is the largest with water gushing down from over 40 meters from the top of the mountain,

Hiking can be done from the third floor, other activities such as swimming, hiking, mountain climbing, and bird watching can be done here.

La Champagne Tropicana in Lagos:

 

is located at Ikegun, Ibeju-Lekki area, off Lekki Epe expressway, Lagos

It was founded in 1984 by Otumba Wanle Akinboboye, this resort is an African-themed resort, apart from being a vacation center, it provides job opportunities for its host community,

Activities that can be done here include kayaking, board games, water sports, table tennis, etc, they have their currency known as Pere.

National war museum Umuahia:

 

this museum was established in 1985, it houses war relics such as armored tanks, locally made bombs (ogbunigwe) made by the Biafrans, and military aircraft,

The location for this museum was chosen because “the voice of Biafra was transmitted from there”

Most people come here for tourist purpose while some come here to learn.
